Last updated: 21 September 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how TRENDSIGNALMEDIA LIMITED (TrendSignalMedia, we, us or our), a company incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability, handles personal information in connection with trendsignalmedia.net and our marketing services. Hong Kong registration number: 81260081. Registered office: FLAT 2304, 23/F, HO KING, COMM CENTRE, 2-16 FA YUEN STREET, MONG KOK, HONG KONG.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy covers visitors to our website, people who contact us, and client representatives involved in enquiries and service engagements. TRENDSIGNALMEDIA LIMITED is responsible for the personal information it handles for these purposes. Our privacy practices are subject to Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and any other applicable data-protection law.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide may include your name, role, business email or other contact details, company information, project requirements, correspondence, contracts, billing details, and files or creative assets you share with us. Providing information for an enquiry is voluntary. If information reasonably needed to answer an enquiry, administer a payment or deliver agreed services is not supplied, we may be unable to do so. Please provide only information relevant to your request.
Stripe processes payments. Depending on the payment method and transaction, payment-related information can include billing contact details, transaction amounts, payment status and identifiers. Please do not send full payment-card details or passwords to our enquiry email.
Where a client authorizes access to advertising accounts or supplies campaign reports, information may include account identifiers, creative assets, budgets and performance measures such as spend, impressions, clicks and conversions. Our current services do not involve handling clients’ customer or lead lists. Please do not send those lists or sensitive personal information to our general enquiry email.
3. How we use information
We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, assess project requirements, deliver agreed services, communicate about projects, prepare reports, administer payments and contracts, maintain business records, address disputes and meet legal obligations. We use personal information for the purpose for which it was collected or a directly related purpose, unless another use is permitted by law or the necessary consent is obtained. We do not currently send marketing email campaigns. Visiting this website is not blanket consent to new uses of personal information.
4. Service providers and disclosures
We use Framer to host our website, Gmail for email, Google Drive for business and project files, and Stripe for payment processing. Information needed to provide those functions may be handled by the relevant provider. Providers may also process information for their own security, fraud-prevention or legal purposes under their applicable privacy notices.
Information may be shared, where necessary, with authorized personnel and contractors delivering agreed services, advertising platforms to the extent needed for authorized account work, professional advisers supporting our business, and authorities where disclosure is legally required or otherwise lawfully necessary. Access and disclosure are limited to the relevant purpose. We do not make enquiry or client information publicly available merely because it has been shared with us.
5. Data retention
Our retention policy is to keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and comply with applicable legal requirements. Relevant factors include the status of an enquiry or engagement, accounting and tax obligations, and unresolved disputes. Information no longer needed should be securely deleted or anonymized, subject to lawful retention and backup requirements. You can contact us about the information held about you and its retention.
6. Security
Our security policy is to take practicable steps to protect personal information against unauthorized or accidental access, processing, loss or use, with measures appropriate to the information and the risks. Access should be limited to authorized people who need it for their work, and providers processing information for us must be subject to appropriate contractual or other safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. If you believe information has been compromised, contact us using section 13.
7. Your requests and complaints
You may request access to personal information we hold about you and correction of inaccurate information. You may also ask us to delete information that is no longer needed. Additional rights, such as withdrawal of consent or objection to particular processing, may apply under the law relevant to your circumstances. Requests are subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions; deletion is not an unconditional right to erase records we must lawfully retain.
We may request proportionate information to verify your identity before responding. We will handle access and correction requests within the periods required by applicable law, explain any lawful refusal, and tell you in advance of any permitted fee. You may raise a concern with us or complain to Hong Kong’s Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data. This does not restrict any right to contact another competent privacy authority.
8. International processing
We serve businesses in Hong Kong and the USA and use service providers that operate internationally. Personal information may therefore be processed or stored outside Hong Kong or your country, where privacy laws may differ. Processing locations depend on the relevant provider and service. Our policy is to use appropriate contractual or other safeguards for providers handling personal information on our behalf and to comply with applicable transfer requirements.
9. Children’s information
Our agency website and services are intended for business enquiries rather than use by children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our website or enquiry channels, contact us so the matter can be assessed and handled under applicable law. This statement does not describe the audiences of clients’ advertising campaigns.
10. Third-party services
When you use an external service, such as a payment checkout or an email service, its own privacy notice also applies to its handling of information. Our policy does not replace those notices. Links to the privacy notices for our main providers are below.
11. Cookies and analytics
This website is hosted by Framer. Framer describes its built-in analytics as cookie-free; these analytics can provide aggregate information about visits and page activity. We do not currently use Meta Pixel, Google Analytics or additional advertising-tracking tools on this website. External services you choose to use, such as Stripe checkout, may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their policies. If our website tracking changes, we will update this notice and provide any notice or consent controls required by applicable law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, providers or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide further notice of material changes where required by law. An update does not itself provide consent to a new purpose or remove existing legal rights.
